We are urgently seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA for a 12-month extendable contract in Abu Dhabi. Immediate joiners or those available within 15-20 days are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Oracle EBS R12.2.x/12.1.3 applications, including installation, configuration, cloning, and upgrades.
• Utilize Oracle EBS R12 Applications DBA (AD) utilities and other tools for patching and system updates.
• Manage multi-node EBS environments, handling Concurrent Managers, Programs, Request Sets, Request Groups, and Workflow issues.
• Perform Oracle 19c/12c database administration, including maintenance, security, performance tuning, sizing, capacity planning, and disaster recovery using RMAN and Oracle export/import utilities.
• Install, configure, and maintain multi-node Oracle RAC databases, including Oracle ASM and CRS management.
• Develop and automate PL/SQL packages, shell, and Perl scripts for task automation and proactive database monitoring.
• Review and edit database policies and procedures, and develop new SOPs for database software installation and configuration.
• Execute Cloud (AWS/Azure/OCI) migrations for database platforms and utilize Cloud PaaS solutions on AWS and OCI.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS application administration.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle 19c/12c database administration, including backup and disaster recovery.
• Proficiency in Oracle RAC, ASM, and CRS management.
• Experience with PL/SQL, shell, and Perl scripting for task automation.
• Excellent communication skills for developing and reviewing database policies and procedures.
• Experience with Cloud migrations and PaaS solutions on AWS and OCI.
