Professor Chen, also the chair of the Department of Information Systems, states that the center aims to enhance awareness about AI’s dual-edged nature, conduct research that advances knowledge responsibly, and develop a workforce capable of leading ethical AI implementation.

Mindful AI involves being aware of the broader implications of AI decisions and actions.
